The website

These terms govern use of web-forecourt.com. Forecourt provides a confidential consultation and assigns work to lawyers and investigators in its group.

Forecourt is a digital parent. This website is the advertised front door. It is not a storefront for a single operating firm, and it does not list a public street address.

Consultation is not a retainer

Submitting the form does not create a lawyer-client or investigator-client relationship, does not start a limitation period strategy, and does not mean a file has been opened.

A written mandate, if one follows, is the instrument that retains counsel or inquiry. Until then, treat the exchange as a first contact.

Assignment

Forecourt chooses the desk. You do not select a firm on this site, and you do not choose counsel versus inquiry as a menu.

Assignment may involve lawyers, licensed investigators, or both, according to the facts. The names of operating firms we own may appear in the footer for identification; they are not a directory of doors.

Acceptable use

You must not submit malicious, false, or automated briefings, and you must not attempt to probe other people’s matters through this website.

We may decline, ignore, or refer a submission that appears abusive, incomplete, or outside the work we assign.

Liability

The site is provided as a digital front door. To the extent permitted by law, Forecourt is not liable for decisions made before a written mandate exists, including delay, a missed limitation period, or a step taken on the strength of website copy alone.

Nothing on this website is a warranty of result, recovery, or admissibility.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Canadian and cross-border matters are assigned to licensed professionals in the jurisdictions required by the file.

If a dispute about the website itself cannot be resolved, the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
