Forecourt is the digital parent at web-forecourt.com. We assign lawyers and licensed investigators. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website, including the consultation form.
We do not publish a street address. Correspondence about this policy and about a briefing should be sent to briefing@web-forecourt.com.
When you request a consultation we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the facts you write, an amount band, platforms or channels involved, timing, urgency, optional flags that a matter is already in motion, and your consent to open a briefing.
Our host may keep technical logs required to operate the site, such as IP address, user agent, and the time of a request. We do not ask for a residential or office street address on this form.
We collect this information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act to assess and assign a confidential briefing, to reply to you, to detect abuse, and to keep a short record of inquiries.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use a briefing as a marketing list.
Briefings are limited to a Forecourt principal and the desk assigned to the file. Processors that host this website or deliver email see only what is required to deliver that service.
We do not publish a hosting region or a street address. Processors may store information outside Canada. Technical access is limited to people who operate the site and the assigned professionals.
This website does not set marketing cookies and does not run an advertising pixel. Essential cookies, if any, are limited to operating the site.
If analytics or a cookie banner are added later, this section will say so. Until then, treat the consultation form as a first contact, not a tracking surface.
A Forecourt principal reads each briefing. Counsel or an inquiry desk assigned to the file may then see what is required to take the next step. We do not publish inquiries.
Processors that host this website or deliver email see only what is required to deliver that service. They are not invited to use the contents of a briefing for their own purposes.
A consultation is a requested commercial electronic message (CEM). We will not add you to a newsletter unless you ask.
The privacy contact, and the address for withdrawing consent to further contact about a briefing, is briefing@web-forecourt.com. Withdrawal does not erase a record we must keep for professional or legal reasons.
Forecourt identifies itself as the digital parent at web-forecourt.com. We do not print a street mailing address. Counsel should confirm whether that identification meets CASL’s prescribed-information rules.
Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to assign and reply, then in line with the professional obligations of any desk that is retained.
If no mandate follows, we keep what is required to show that a briefing was received and answered, and no longer.
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by writing to briefing@web-forecourt.com, which is also the contact for this privacy policy. We will respond within the time PIPEDA requires.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We will update the date at the top of this page when the policy changes. Continued use of the website after that date is an acknowledgment of the revised policy.
